2026年4月10日至12日，第37届巴黎卢浮宫《ARTSHOPPING》当代国际艺术博览会将在法国巴黎盛大启幕。著名书画家钟斌炳受邀参展，其彩墨代表作《云焰》《夜烬》即将登临卢浮宫卡鲁塞尔厅，一场承载东方美学精髓的艺术盛宴，将在西方艺术殿堂璀璨绽放。

此次参展的《云焰》《夜烬》，是钟斌炳以“泼写结合”技法精心打造的扛鼎之作。《云焰》泼彩写云霞，浓处如烈焰奔涌，气势撼人；淡处似流岚轻舞，灵动婉转。线条收束自然，尽显传统笔墨与当代彩墨融合的雄浑张力。《夜烬》以深邃墨彩晕染夜幕静谧，墨彩交错间微光浮动，暗含“生生不息”的东方哲思。

From April 10 to 12, 2026, the 37th "Art Shopping" International Contemporary Art Expo at the Louvre in Paris will grandly open in Paris, France. The renowned painter and calligrapher Zhong Binbing has been invited to participate. His color ink masterpieces, Cloud Flame and Night Ember, are set to be showcased at the Carrousel du Louvre. An artistic feast embodying the essence of Eastern aesthetics will shine brilliantly in the grand hall of Western art.

As a globally influential contemporary art event, this year’s "Art Shopping" brings together over 150 top-tier galleries and more than 2,000 artists from dozens of countries including France, Germany, the United States, and China, attracting an estimated 15,000 art enthusiasts, collectors, and professionals for exchanges. At that time, Eastern color ink—rooted in a thousand-year spirit of freehand brushwork—will happily encounter the classical domes of the Louvre, kicking off a civilizational dialogue across borders. The delicate washes and layered hues of Eastern color ink will also intersect deeply with the realistic foundation of Western art, making it a standout highlight of this year's expo.

The exhibited works Cloud Flame and Night Ember are pinnacle creations meticulously crafted by Zhong Binbing using his original “Splashing-Ink Integrated with Writing” technique. In Cloud Flame, splashing-color techniques depict rolling clouds: dense colors surge like blazing flames, conveying an imposing momentum; light colors dance like wispy mist, exuding subtle grace. The natural flow of lines condenses all natural phenomena into a single scroll, fully demonstrating the powerful tension between traditional brushwork and contemporary color ink innovation. In Night Ember, profound color ink gradations render the tranquility of night. Where ink and color interweave, tiny glimmers flicker faintly, embodying the Eastern philosophy of “endless vitality.”

Upholding the foundation of traditional brush and ink, and exploring the innovation of color ink art, Zhong Binbing has dedicated decades to advancing the inheritance and breakthrough of Chinese painting and calligraphy. As the Paris exhibition opens in April, he will take color ink as a bridge to foster deep resonance between the spirit of Eastern freehand brushwork and Western aesthetic concepts, writing a magnificent new chapter for the mutual learning of Eastern and Western cultures.
